Since starting her private practice about 18 years ago, Dr. Marita Lavda has provided unsurpassed periodontal care and state-of-the-art implant dentistry to her patients. She received her Board Certification in Periodontics from Ohio State University in 2003 and Fellowship in Implantology from the same University in 2004. Following her training in Periodontology, she joined the Department of Periodontology at the University of Illinois (Chicago), where she taught both undergraduate and postgraduate students as an Assistant Professor.

Dr. Lavda is passionate about using her dental skills to help her patients recover their oral health. That said, she feels strongly that the doctor/patient relationship is the foundation for a successful treatment plan. That is why she and her staff dedicate time to getting to know each patient to better understand their concerns and needs.
